Ballinger and the Soul Blues Boyz will perform at the Rozensweig Arts
Theatre in Columbus Dec. 15.
The Howlin’ Wolf Blues
Society of West Point and the Columbus Arts Council will sponsor the
event, which will be limited to only 100 seats.
The price of admission for
the special one-night-only performance will be $10 and $15.
Ballinger with Soul Blues Boyz
Leon Baker and Blind Mississippi Morris will be performing “real
lowdown Mississippi blues,” according to organizers.
Slick and company have been
taking the blues world by storm with their powerhouse blues act. They
have opened for BB King twice in the past few months and have just finished
recording Ballinger’s first CD.
“Slick and the Soul Blues
Boyz are one of the most powerful blues bands I have ever seen,”
Howlin’ Wolf Blues Society Program Director Richard Ramsey said.
“We just got back from Jim Gaines Studio recording Slick’s
new CD.”
